There may be some variation to the schedule because in addition to the above topics we will discuss competitive psychology, gate sour horses, how to tune-up yourself in addition to your horse, conditioning of both you and your horse, things to know while hauling short and long distance.
We will also try to answer any questions you may have. Participants will, at certain times, be split into two groups. Each group will be working in different areas of the arena. There is a lot of riding and demand placed on horse and rider so be prepared and be in shape but don’t be afraid. We want you to have FUN too!
SPACE IS LIMITED TO 15 HORSES, SO SIGN UP EARLY.
Registration plus $100 deposit due October1. Bring your own lunch each day. Click here for a clinic registration form.
CAROL ELLIS has been conducting clinics for over 30 years. She has been a guest clinician in Colorado, Wyoming, Nebraska, Utah and Nevada. She conducts weekend clinics in the spring and fall. During the summer months she is busy with summer-series clinics held at the LAZY HEART E ARENA.
The clinics may be simple demonstration clinics to full arena clinics with mounted riders. The number of participants is always limited so each horse and rider is assured individual attention. The clinics can cover many subjects such as horsemanship, beginning reining, beginning barrel racing, advanced barrel racing, and pole bending. Clinics are held at the LAZY HEART E facility or on location at public and private facilities.
CAROL has expert knowledge of equine temperament and behavior that enables her to quickly identify and correct problem areas and also to identify areas of strength to help horse and rider gain a competitive edge. She covers every step necessary not only to develop a good, solid horse, but also to make any horse and rider combination more confident.
Clinics and speaking engagements are scheduled six to twelve months in advance. The cost is dependent upon location and format. For further information about scheduling a clinic in your area or where you may be able to attend a clinic CONTACT CAROL by clicking on "Contact Us".
